About
Gunalan is a second year Computational and Systems Biology student, hailing from Chicago. He joined the Mack lab as part of the image analysis team. He is contributing by developing code for image recognition software to detect the clustering of plasma membrane proteins from live cell imaging experiments. He enjoys reading, board games, watching movies and gardening. When not working, he can be found hanging around other engineers in the hopes that they will one day accept him.
